Dear Colleagues,

Our success relies on ensuring our structures remain agile, responsive, and efficient and on having the right leaders to guide them. Today, I'm pleased to announce three strategic searches that will shape Academic Affairs for years to come: re-coupling enrollment management with Academic Affairs, consolidating our global and international activities under a unifying vision and strategic leadership, and the search for a Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Enrollment Management: In light of the critical importance of enrollment management to the realization of our mission and its bidirectional relationship with Academic Affairs, we have decided to bring Enrollment Management within the Division of Academic Affairs while also maintaining its visibility and weight in all decision-making.  We have opened a search for a Chief Enrollment Management Officer (CEMO) and Vice Provost, who will report to the President and the Provost. The full description of the position is here. Please share widely with your networks.

International Academic Initiatives:  The increasing importance of global perspectives and the changing landscape requires a more integrated and expansive strategy around international academic initiatives, whether in education, research, or engagement. To this end, the university is seeking a Vice Provost for International Academic Initiatives. The full description is here. Please share widely with your networks.

New Dean for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences: CHSS is making progress in articulating a refreshed vision for the college and designing a new organization that promotes the humanities and social sciences as thriving disciplines in their own right and as essential perspectives in understanding our world, addressing its challenges, and imagining alternative systems and structures. This is an opportune time for a Dean for CHSS  to realize this vision. The full description is here. Please share widely.

This is a very exciting time. Your partnership in sharing these positions with your networks and in engaging with these searches is paramount to successful hires.

Best regards,

Fatma
